Although we strive to accommodate all applicants, we acknowledge that our program may not suit every student’s individual needs. The Watershed Academy serves students who may face challenges in conventional educational environments but are positioned to excel with appropriate support and guidance. A teaching method that helps students reflect on their thinking to become self-regulated learners. It guides them to plan, monitor, and assess their learning strategies instead of simply memorizing information.

At the Watershed Academy assessments are used to identify areas of support and to measure student growth. However, assessments are just one tool used to evaluate student growth and performance.

Students who choose to return to a traditional setting may withdraw. A formal records request must be made once the student is enrolled in their new school.
